When marketing dating offers, social media can be a really great avenue for finding leads. But, it\u2019s not always as easy as you think. You might have an amazing promotion from your affiliate program, and what you think is a good idea for a strong campaign. Sometimes though, it just doesn\u2019t work out. This is where you might be going wrong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Four Reasons Why Your Dating Offers Might Not be Getting Any\nInterest on Social Media<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. People aren\u2019t reading your posts<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This is an obvious one, right? But there are various reasons why people might not be reading your posts. It might be that the copy is too wordy. Your imagery might be wrong. Or it might look too slick, meaning that people automatically assume that you\u2019re selling something. Social media is full of ads these days. When was the last time that you stopped and looked at one? Most of us just filter them out. If you want people to read what you have to say, you have to look genuine and appealing and <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.hootsuite.com\/writing-for-social-media\/\">write like a regular person posting their daily update<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2.&nbsp; People don\u2019t trust\nyou<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want people to act on your advice, <a href=\"https:\/\/medium.com\/@DashHudson\/5-ways-to-build-trust-with-social-media-to-create-loyalty-f5c16018832a\">you first need them to trust you<\/a>. If you\u2019ve already lost people\u2019s trust it can be hard to regain, so try to work on this from the beginning. How do you do that? A) Tell the truth. Dishonesty reaps its own rewards, and ultimately leads to failure. If you\u2019re deliberately misleading people, it won\u2019t take them long to find out. B) Be authentic. To start with, if you\u2019re annoying, no one will trust you. Therefore, no\none will even think about following your links. Secondly, if you\u2019re <em>really <\/em>annoying people will block or\nreport you. Thirdly, if people consistently respond to your posts with thumbs\ndown, angry faces, or negative comments, most platforms have algorithms that\nwill pick it up. What this means for you is that even if you\u2019re paying for a\npost, it will be shown less frequently. If your posts aren\u2019t seen, you will\nnever generate any dating traffic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. You\u2019re boring\/unoriginal<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The mutual blessing and the curse of social media is that\nthere is such a lot of scope for people to see things.
