We process personal data only when we have a lawful basis under applicable data protection law. Depending on the context, we rely on one or more of the following bases:
- Contract: to create and operate your affiliate account, provide tracking links, calculate commissions, manage payout requests and perform the Affiliate2Day Terms of Use Agreement.
- Legitimate interests: to run and secure our affiliate program, prevent fraud, review traffic quality, maintain business records, improve our services, respond to business enquiries and protect our legal and commercial interests.
- Consent: for optional marketing communications, non-essential cookies or similar tracking technologies where consent is required, and any other processing where we expressly ask for consent.
- Legal obligation: to comply with accounting, tax, anti-fraud, regulatory, dispute-handling and record-keeping obligations.
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we balance our interests against your privacy rights and freedoms. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests as explained in Section 12 below.
6. Affiliate tracking, cookies and similar technologies
Affiliate2Day uses affiliate tracking technology, including iDevAffiliate-related tracking, to identify which affiliate referred traffic and to attribute registrations, conversions, sales and commissions. Tracking may involve affiliate IDs, referral links, URL parameters, cookies, server logs, pixels or similar technologies.
We may use strictly necessary cookies to operate the website and account login. We may also use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies and similar technologies. Where EU/UK cookie rules require consent, non-essential cookies should be set only after the user gives consent. Users should be able to manage or withdraw cookie consent through the cookie banner/settings or browser controls.
Affiliates must not remove, hide, manipulate or misuse affiliate tracking codes, and must not use tracking in a way that violates applicable privacy, anti-spam, consumer protection or advertising laws.
7. How we use personal data
We use personal data to:
- review affiliate applications and verify traffic sources;
- create, maintain and secure affiliate accounts;
- provide links, banners, landing pages, reports and affiliate support;
- track referred traffic, registrations, conversions, sales and commissions;
- calculate, approve, decline or pay commissions according to program terms;
- monitor traffic quality and prevent fraud, spam, bots, proxy traffic, prohibited traffic and other policy violations;
- respond to questions, technical issues, payment issues, complaints and feedback;
- send service notices, account updates and permitted marketing communications;
- comply with legal, accounting, tax and dispute-resolution requirements;
- protect the rights, reputation, safety and security of Affiliate2Day, our users, affiliates and partners.
8. Fraud prevention and traffic quality checks
Affiliate2Day reviews traffic and conversions to protect the affiliate program from fraud and policy violations. This may include checking IP data, duplicate registrations, conversion patterns, traffic sources, suspicious activity, payment records and compliance with our Terms of Use Agreement.
Conversions or commissions may be placed in pending status, approved, declined or reviewed manually by Affiliate2Day staff. We do not intend to make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects without appropriate human review.
9. Who we share personal data with
We may share personal data with the following categories of recipients where necessary:
- companies and websites within the 2Day group where needed to operate offers, landing pages, registrations, sales and commission attribution;
- affiliate tracking technology providers, including iDevAffiliate-related systems;
- hosting, cloud, IT, security, analytics, email, CRM and customer support providers;
- banks, payment processors and payout service providers;
- professional advisers, auditors, accountants, lawyers and compliance consultants;
- law enforcement, regulators, courts or public authorities where required by law or necessary to protect rights;
- business partners or successors in the event of restructuring, merger, sale or transfer of business assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality and data protection safeguards.
We do not sell personal data. We may use aggregated or anonymised data for reporting, analytics and business planning where individuals cannot reasonably be identified.
10. International transfers
Affiliate2Day operates internationally, and our affiliates, users, service providers and group-related websites may be located in different countries. This means personal data may be processed outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom.
Where GDPR or UK GDPR transfer rules apply, we use appropriate safeguards where required, such as adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses, contractual confidentiality obligations, security measures and transfer assessments. You may contact us for more information about the safeguards used for relevant transfers.
11. How long we keep personal data
We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this page, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Retention depends on the data type and context, including:
- affiliate account data is generally kept while the account is active and for a reasonable period after closure to handle disputes, unpaid commissions, fraud prevention, accounting and legal claims;
- tracking, conversion and commission data is kept as long as needed for attribution, reporting, payment, audit, fraud prevention and dispute resolution;
- payment and accounting records are kept for the period required by applicable tax, accounting and financial laws;
- contact and support messages are kept as long as needed to answer the request and maintain business records;
- cookie and analytics data is kept according to the cookie settings, tool configuration and applicable law.
When personal data is no longer needed, we delete it, anonymise it or restrict access to it, unless we need to keep it to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes or enforce agreements.
12. Your GDPR rights
Subject to applicable law and identity verification, you may have the following rights:
- Right to be informed about how your personal data is processed;
- Right of access to your personal data;

To exercise your rights, contact us via the Contact Us form on Affiliate2Day.com or through your Affiliate Manager. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Some rights are not absolute and may be limited by legal obligations, fraud prevention needs, accounting requirements, contractual obligations or the rights of other people.
13. Complaints
If you have concerns about how we handle personal data, please contact us first so we can review and respond to your request. If GDPR applies to you, you may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority in the EU Member State where you live, where you work or where the alleged infringement took place.
14. Affiliate responsibilities under GDPR and privacy laws
Affiliates are responsible for ensuring that their own promotional activity complies with applicable privacy, data protection, cookie, advertising, consumer protection and anti-spam laws. In particular, affiliates should:
- publish a clear privacy notice on their own websites and traffic sources;
- obtain valid consent for non-essential cookies, pixels, email marketing, remarketing or similar tracking where required;
- avoid spam, bots, fake leads, proxy leads, database leads, misleading ads, prohibited adult traffic and other traffic that violates Affiliate2Day policies;
- use Affiliate2Day links and tracking codes only as intended;
- not pass sensitive personal data to Affiliate2Day unless expressly requested and legally permitted;
- promptly cooperate with Affiliate2Day if a privacy, security, fraud or compliance issue arises.
15. Data security
We use organisational and technical measures designed to protect personal data from unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure. These measures may include access controls, account authentication, secure systems, monitoring, staff confidentiality, limited access rights and data protection procedures. No online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so affiliates should also protect their login credentials and notify us promptly if they suspect unauthorised account access.
16. Children
Affiliate2Day is intended for business users and affiliate partners who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect affiliate account data from children. If we learn that a child has provided personal data through Affiliate2Day.com, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
